The Blending Process

The blending unit is connected to a tanker
that pumps unmodified liquid asphalt into
the blender.

Rubber is added to the liquid asphalt.

Rubber modified liquid asphalt is blended and pumped into the hot mix plant.
Rubber modified hot mix asphalt is
placed on the road.
