Christopher W. Norfolk, Ph.D. Dr. Norfolk’s primary responsibilities are as program manager for the Applied Research and Development Institute (ARDI) and SCRA, a state-chartered, non-profit management company focused on collaborating to advance technology. In his role as program manager, he has successfully executed over $5 million in research contracts for the Department of Defense. Major customers include the US Army Corrosion office at Picatinny Arsenal and the US Army Soldier Center at Natick. In this role, Dr. Norfolk works to serve the interests of both the government and Clemson University, by identifying promising technologies which can be transitioned to meet real-world needs. |
