Financial AidGraduate research assistantships are available to qualified graduate applicants. All full-time graduate students in chemical engineering receive financial assistance to defray living expenses and tuition. Students with graduate research assistantships work on funded research projects related to their thesis. Supplemental fellowships are available to outstanding students. Assistantships offered to new students are set at competitive rates each year and are paid on a 12-month basis. Renewals are evaluated each spring. Receipt of a graduate assistantship qualifies the student for reduced tuition rates, currently about $2,000 per calendar year. Offers of financial aid for each new academic year start by the end of February, and offers are made as long as funds are available. Apply by early January to ensure full consideration in the awards process. Apply Online Directly to our Department
