GE Fund Scholar

Alan Horne, a junior majoring in computer engineering has been named a GE Fund Scholar. The GE Fund, the philanthropic foundation of the General Electric Company, has named scholars at 15 universities across the country, recognizing outstanding academic performance and leadership. Scholars at private institutions receive $10,000 per year and those at public institutions receive $6,000 per year for their sophomore, junior, and senior years in college, contingent on continued academic performance.
