2001 SEAM Award goes to Gregory

The Herman F. Mark Polymer Research Institute at New York PolyTechnic University has awarded its 2001 SEAM (Search for Electro-Active Materials) to Clemson's Richard V. (Dick) Gregory. Gregory, director of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, was recognized for his pioneering work in electroactive organic fibers and optical devices.

This award is given annually during the SEAM awards symposium lecture series, started over forty years ago by polymer pioneer and scholar Professor Herman F. Mark.
