ISO selects Convenor

The International Organization for Standards (ISO) appointed Frank E. Weisgerber, (Ph.D - civil engineering '76) P.E., structural engineer/safety specialist, as Convenor of Work Group Five. Weisgerber will direct the development of standards relating specifically to horizontal lifelines, items that are used in construction and industrial settings to protect the lives of individuals who work at elevated positions. This appointment recognizes Weisgerber's contributions to this technical field and distinguishes him as an international expert in this area.
