Delhaye honored

Jean-Marc Delhaye, professor of mechanical engineering, received the Gilded Silver Medal of the City of Grenoble, France, on the occasion of the Twelfth International Heat Transfer Conference held recently in Grenoble. This medal is presented to individuals who have significantly contributed to the prestige of the city of Grenoble by their achievements in art, science, literature, industry or sports.

The Twelfth International Heat Transfer Conference was chaired by Delhaye and was attended by more than 800 participants. During this conference, Delhaye was elected President of the Assembly for International Heat Transfer Conferences. He was also selected to receive the prestigious 2002 Technical Achievement Award of the American Nuclear Society Thermal Hydraulic Division.
