Professor
Clemson's newest
Alumni Distinguished Professor is Melanie Cooper (in center),
chemistry professor and undergraduate laboratories director. She
was nominated for the award by many of her current and former students
and chosen for her excellence in teaching and her commitment to
the University.
Since 1962,
the Alumni Association has named Alumni Distinguished Professors
to recognize, reward and support excellence in teaching at Clemson.
There are currently 19 Alumni Distinguished Professors whose contributions
to the university are invaluable.
