Your Bequest: Continuing the Clemson Legacy
Clemson
University is a living legacy of a visionary - Thomas Green Clemson.
When he wrote his will in 1886, Clemson bequeathed his assets to
the state to establish a “high seminary of learning.”
His will is a testament to the power of planned giving.
Including
the Clemson University Foundation in your estate plan will help
continue the Clemson legacy for generations to come. A charitable
bequest provides valuable financial and estate-planning benefits
while achieving lasting support for Clemson University.
The
Clemson Legacy Society honors individuals who have included Clemson
in their estate plans, or in any revocable planned gift arrangement.
If you have made provisions to include Clemson University in your
will, please let us know so that we can include you in the Society
and thank you appropriately. We also want to make sure you have
the opportunity to specify the shape your gift will take. If you
have not provided for Clemson in your will, please give this thoughtful
consideration.
We
appreciate your interest and support in the College of Engineering
& Science and would welcome the opportunity to meet with you
or provide you with additional information. Please return the information
form below in the envelope provided in this newsletter, or feel
free to contact Joy Workman, Director of Alumni Development, toll
free at 1-866-472-8823.
