Reeves recognized as “Volunteer of the Year”
Susan
Reeves, a systems programmer in Computer and Network Services, was
honored recently for her work as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for Oconee

other individuals deemed “incompetent” by age or other
disability to adequately represent their own interests.
While Reeves lives in Clemson, she is a former resident of Oconee
County, so she has continued to work with the system there. She
has been a GAL for 7 years, and currently has 10 children in foster
care that she represents
“These children are the future,” Reeves says. “As
a GAL, I’m trying to shaping that future for the better.”
