Anand K. Gramopadhye, chair and professor of industrial engineering and director of Clemson’s Advanced Technology Systems Laboratory, participated in the Seventh German-American NAE’s 2004 Frontiers of Engineering Symposium. The three-day event, brought together 60 top engineers from the two countries, ages 30 to 45, from industry, academia and government. In 2002 Gramopadhye was selected by NAE to participate in the Frontiers in Engineering program that brings together 100 top engineers in the US.

Gramopadhye has also been named the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics. IJIE is the premier refereed international journal in the ergonomics and the human factors arena.
