cited authors in the field of wireless communication networks, according
to a recent worldwide science and technology study. The results
of the study were derived from the Science Citation Index of archival
journal citations.
Pursley is a renowned wireless research pioneer who authored journal
articles on communication techniques that eventually led to code-division
multiple access (CDMA), is the most commonly used communication
technique for cell phones in the United States today.
