PEER and WISE receive support

The Programs for Educational Enrichment and Retention (PEER) Office in the College of Engineering and Science at Clemson University, has a long history of supporting minority students in their quest for academic excellence.  Since 1987, PEER has provided mentoring, counseling and assistance to hundreds of African American and Hispanic/Latino American engineering and science majors.  In 1995, the PEER Office established the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program to provide similar support and networking opportunities to female students.

The PEER & WISE programs have been recipients of recent gifts from the Duke Energy Corporation, Eastman Chemical Company, and Milliken & Company in support of their outstanding programs.

The College’s administration and students deeply appreciate the support from corporate sponsors which enable these outstanding programs to continue to succeed.
