-- Residential Community in Science and Engineering --
Welcome
The RISE (Residents Inspiring Successful Engineers) Program is a unique first-year Community for learning and student success. This program is limited to engineering freshmen.
The RISE Program is a collaborative effort between the College of Engineering and Science, the Housing Department, and WISE (Women in Science and Engineering).
This program combines the residential and academic aspects of college life and is intended to enhance students' academic experience and ease their transition into college by providing a support system of individuals with similar interests.
Peer Advisors (PAs), who are upperclassmen majoring in science and engineering, live in the residence halls and work with Residential Assistants (RAs) to provide mentoring services to students. Residence Hall Tutors (RHTs) will be in the residence halls most nights for tutoring. Click here for more information on the programs the RISE Program offers.
All engineering and science freshmen are invited to apply for The RISE
Program. There is a non refundable $150.00 participation fee required
for participation in this program. Click here for
more information on how to apply.
