ECE 262 - Test 2
Spring 2006
1. Draw an s-domain equivalent circuit for the time domain circuit shown. Choose equivalent circuits for the capacitor and inductor that minimize the total number of meshes in the final circuit.
2. Write the mesh equations which, if solved would yield expressions for the frequency domain variables I1 and I2. You do not need to simplify or solve the equations, simply write them down.
3. Using a partial fraction expansion, express F(s) as a sum of terms, each of which has a single monomial of the form (s + a) in the denominator.
4. The analysis of an s-domain circuit has yielded the following expression for the voltage V(s).
Determine the time domain voltage v(t).
