Student Research

I have been fortunate to have worked with many talented students since coming to Clemson. Nearly all of their research has included some aspect of field work and some theoretical analyses. The few exceptions are the students who did particularly challenging theoretical analyses and, unfortunately, did not have time to do field work.

I will try to post as much information as possible describing the work of each student. This includes photos and electronic files for most of the later students, but less info is available in electronic format for some of my earlier students. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you want more information and I will see what I can do.

Clemson has recently initiated a Creative Inquiry program where teams of undergraduates get involved with research. I have started working with a Creative Inquiry team who are interested in groundwater, and other teams are starting to be active in the Geology Department.
