REMChlor Workshop
3:00 - 4:40
Grand Ballroom

The course will be taught by Dr. Ron Falta, who was the developer of REMChlor, and it will include a review of the model, several tutorial examples, model guidance, and a question and answer session. The course is included as part of the Hydrogeology Symposium, but it is limited to the first 50 people who signed up for it as part of the registration process

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just released a new computer model called REMChlor for managing chlorinated solvent sites. This new model includes the capability of the natural attenuation model BIOCHLOR, but it also allows the user to simulate the effects of source and plume remediation, in addition to natural attenuation.

Each person should bring his or her laptop computer, and should download REMChlor from the EPA website (http://www.epa.gov/ada/csmos/models/remchlor.html) prior to the course.
