RESEARCH DISCIPLINES IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Research in the Department of Mechanical is distributed across nine major Research Disciplines. Each Discipline is comprised of individual Focus Areas. In order to locate all faculty members conducting research within particular Focus Areas simply highlight any of the Research Disciplines below. This will reveal a menu allowing you to go to either the Displine Overview or to any of the Focus Areas where faculty performing research in these areas are listed.

Research labs and offices of the faculty and graduate students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering are housed within the Fluor Daniel Engineering Innovation Building.This is a premier research facility housing state-of-the-art research laboratories; both experimental and computational.
