March 11, 2009 - Graduate student Matthew Ray traveled to the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC to give a talk entitled “Energy Dissipation in Hyperthermal Ion-Surface Interactions”.

Welcome to the Sosolik Group home page. In our research we probe the basic physical mechanisms that govern gas-solid and solid-solid interactions at nanometer and atomic length scales. Our primary research tools are a scanning tunneling microscope and a hyperthermal energy beamline and scattering chamber.
