Learn About the PEER Office

Welcome to PEER! Our mission in the PEER office is to assist minority College of Engineering and Science students. We want to help you achieve all the goals you have set for yourselves as you prepare for a demanding career in an engineering or science related field.

Now, that's not going to be easy! You'll work harder and longer than you've ever worked before. You will have to develop effective study skills and time-management techniques, along with the self discipline to wrestle with complex information hour after hour and day after day.

But you won't have to do it alone. That's why PEER is here. Over the years, we've developed award-winning services to help you turn yourself into an excellent college student. The PEER mentors, PEER/WISE Study Hall, and PEER Office services are all designed to support your personal plan of achievement.

PEER students are always welcome in the PEER office. We have a lounge area (where you can relax or study between classes), test files, computers and a laser printer for student use, and various magazines you can read in the lounge or take back to your dorm with you. We also keep information on summer internships, research opportunities, graduate school and general scholarship information. Drop in any time!
