ALL LODGING FOR THE SCDOT CLASSES AND CLASSES FORMERLY HELD AT THE RAMADA INN HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO THE
COMFORT INN, CLEMSON

Contractors working on DOT's projects must have technicians who are certified (they must pass an exam) at various levels.
At this point, there are six different types of certification courses offered at Clemson:

Asphalt Roadway Technician (ART)
Level 1: HMA Quality Control Technician
Level 2S: Superpave Mix Design
Level 3: Quality Control Managers
Earthworks and Base Course Technician
Foundations Technician

Attention: At the start of each course, all course attendees will be asked to read and sign the following form called
"Application for SCDOT Technician Certification"
If you answer "yes" to Question #2 on this form, your certification will be subject to approval by the SCDOT Technician Certification Board even if you pass the written exam.
