ABOUT
WISE CHOICE:
High school vistors: The visitors will spend a day on campus learning about
careers in engineering, science, and math, and have plenty of time to ask any
questions they may have about Clemson University.
We also hold a formal information session, where participants will be advised
by representatives of our Admissions and Financial Aid Offices and will listen
to presentations from such groups as the Society of Women Engineers.
The WISE program is FREE; we do not charge participants anything
to attend. They are responsible only for their travel to and from Clemson
University. If you would like to attend with your students, arrangements
can be made to accommodate you as well.
To be eligible, students must be seniors (we invite juniors during the spring
semester), must be enrolled in a college preparatory program, and must
have a grade point average at or above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. (Please
note: Our mission for the WISE Program is to increase the number of
females entering into engineering and science fields.)
Eligible students
are selected on a first-come, first-served
basis determined by the date and time the applications
arrive in our office.
