Elizabeth Walter Jones (Emily Elizabeth Walter)

SALISBURY -- Elizabeth Walter Jones, 74, of Salisbury, died Friday, Sept. 5, 1997 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lena Muir Walter.

She was employed as a real estate agent for several agencies in the Salisbury area. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Salisbury. She had lived in the Nanticoke area for many years and attended St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Tyaskin.

She is survived by two sons, Lonnie W. Jones II of Reeds Spring, Mo., and Robert F. Jones of Mardela Springs; and three grandchildren.

A daughter, Juanita Jones Mulcahy, died Nov. 27, 1970.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Tyaskin. The Rev. David Tontonoz will officiate.

Memorial donations in the deceased's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are being handled by Messick Funeral Home in Bivalve.
