Help: Let me know any reference books where this can be found. I found it,
typed it in, then forgot where it was (years ago). - Robert
A message from someone who has encountered several phonetic alphabets: text
Brian Kelk told me that the Old Military Alphabet is identical to NASA's and the New International Alphabet can be found in
The US Department of Defense Dictionary of Military TermsBut I originally found the above table in one book -- still looking. I think it was a handbook for pilots that I found at the Wallops Island Flight Facility library.
1990
ISBN 1-85367-085-5
Publishers: Greenhill Books, London; Presidio Press, California
Gus Tavares points out that a reference is
Benchtop Electronics Handbook,
4th ed. (McGraw-Hill, 1998).
If you came here looking for a linquistic phonetic alphabet, then check out Yamanda Language Center
NASA has a web page on this subject too, which has sort of moved to Landings. They don't have the radio alphabet page up, but a preliminary link is there.
