3. For all reference documentation, surf to the Documentation Index at Sun's web site. Or proceed directly to the complete API Specification on the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0.

4. The interface specifications for all the codes explored and distributed in this class can be obtained from the online apidocs directory. This documentation conforms to the JavaDoc guidelines and your own codes should follow these guidelines as well.

5. Sun's online tutorials are an excellent way to get aquainted with Java programming. The tutorials are quite extensive and you should find them to be very helpful.

6. Gamelan is one of the premiere online Java communities. This has been a great source of free Java and JavaScript samples.
